Based in Austin, Texas, we are looking for a savvy Head of Growth Marketing to join our rapidly growing team. This is not your typical marketing role. At Onramp, you will be a critical piece of our founding team that sets the vision for years to come.

This person will spearhead Onramp's marketing strategy, help drive the product roadmap, work lockstep with sales, and be a catalyst in building the company; a powerful combination that makes for an exciting day!

We are looking for a problem solver. A communicator. A team player. An obsessive personality that focuses on the small things, a winner who is not afraid to take chances. The ideal candidate is data-driven, refining programs to continually improve objectives. You've worked across various acquisition channels, including web, SEO, events, and social, creating structured campaigns to deliver outstanding experiences.

You are a master at building a brand and know what it takes to win customers through education and expertise, and can create awareness before there is a need. You are a solid partner to our sales team, applying industry-standard methodologies and out-of-the-box thinking to drive exceptional growth in a rapidly evolving eCommerce and digital marketing landscape. Your goal will be to deliver high-quality leads, shorten time-to-close, and drive revenue through customer conversion, adoption, and loyalty.

As a leader, you will build your A-team from the ground up as you see fit and inspire them to go above and beyond by rallying them around your vision for success! The Head of Growth Marketing will set annual strategy and execution plans, run the marketing spend and attribution. You will demonstrate leadership that inspires an innovative culture of creativity, accountability, and fun while working with leadership to set objectives and deliver key results.

What You Will Do

Develop and lead Onramp's marketing strategy

  • Co-own revenue number with Sales, delivering high-quality leads that convert into lending customers
  • Partner with Sales to increase the velocity of the sales funnel and revenue pipeline
  • Develop and implement multi-channel, integrated campaigns that use digital, email, partner, and social channels
  • Bring new and creative ideas to the table around acquisition, retention, and growth
  • Implement nurture and content strategy to yield customer loyalty

 

Cultivate the brand

  • Enhance the quality and positioning of existing brand messaging, communications, and design
  • Craft messaging that connects with Onramp's target customers across marketing channels, including social media
  • Create content that attracts traffic and generates brand awareness

 

Build and develop a team

  • Build and develop a team. You will be Onramp's first marketing hire and will have the opportunity to craft your A-team as you see fit, from new hires to agency selection
  • Build an environment of playing for each other, creativity, fun, and accountability
  • You and your team should be forward-thinking and constantly testing new opportunities

 

Test, learn and optimize

  • Identify, quantify, prioritize and implement opportunities to test new and emerging channels
  • Analyze campaign and channel performance to drive continuous process improvements
  • Test/learn/optimize campaigns that drive quality leads and feed customer acquisition growth for the company

 

Your Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or a relevant field
  • 7+ years experience in Marketing (preferably SaaS)
  • A proven track record of leading successful marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Ability to plan, execute, and iterate on marketing campaigns at a rapid pace
  • In-depth knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and interpreting metrics
  • Experience with WordPress, Hubspot, and SalesForce preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experimental and analytical approach to marketing campaigns
  • Experience driving growth in B2B markets
  • Domain knowledge of the eCommerce space
