Onramp is looking for a passionate, rigorous, and results-driven Customer Retention Marketer that will help drive strategy, planning, and execution of retention marketing programs to help retain and drive loyalty for our customers – eCommerce sellers. You will be part of a cross-functional marketing team focused on driving customer retention and customer lifetime value.

This role requires a 2-5 year background in retention or lifecycle marketing with proven results. You must also have strong verbal and written communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and a passion for customers and building a loyal community.

  • A team player, collaborating closely across the Marketing, Sales, and Product teams
  • Residing in - or within weekly commuting distance from - Austin, TX, is strongly preferred

What You Will Do

  • Ideate, develop and execute data-driven, customer-centric multi-channel retention marketing programs to increase the customer lifetime value
  • Initial channels include but are not limited to: email, SMS, in-product messaging, webinars, educational resources, and more
  • Continuously launch and trial new retention strategies/channels; embody a test and learn mentality, with testing content, creativity, and frequency to accelerate business goals and KPIs
  • Develop, execute, and scale campaigns and content tailored to three unique customer tiers
  • Conceptualize and launch a customer community to mobilize loyalty, transforming customers into brand ambassadors/influencers to generate a flywheel effect on our funnel
  • Conduct user feedback via interviews and surveys to inform retention program improvements
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product to optimize post-conversion retention strategies, creating customer journey maps, workflows, and processes as needed
  • Develop clear and insightful reporting to highlight the performance of retention initiatives; communicate results and recommendations to key stakeholders

Your Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a retention/lifecycle marketing role, preferably within a fast-moving, B2B startup environment
  • Strong platform experience with CRM & ESPs like Salesforce, Hubspot, etc.
  • Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and execute to improve performance
  • Solutions-oriented and resourceful, with an ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative team player
