Business Analyst
OnRamp is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to determine our customers’ needs and review/process the loan files. You will analyze financial data to assess the likelihood of a customer honoring their financial obligations, and double check for proper documentation and to verify the compliance guidelines are met.

What You Will DO
- Assess existing or prospective customers requesting Onramp services to determine whether they meet our underwriting, compliance, and regulatory standards
- Assess the ongoing behavior, performance and risk that our customers represent to us
- Analyze portfolio performance against standards and identify trends and criteria to improve performance
- Routinely Investigate, monitor, and verify entity information (i.e., licensing, incorporation, ownership validation, etc.) via open-source databases and third party identification and information tools
- Conduct due diligence on risk profiles and business activity of companies and provide detailed assessments and recommendations
- Develop and track internal reports
- Collaborate closely with cross functional teams and external partners, across multiple levels of seniority
- Examine financial statements (applications, statements, accounting statements, etc)
- Create ratio, trend, and cash flow analyses and projections
- Carefully analyze data and produce clear and objective reports
- Adhere to credit policy and guidelines
- Monitor corporate portfolio asset quality on an ongoing basis
Your Qualifications
- Passion for problem solving - you literally can’t stop digging into until you understand why things are happening and can explain the situation to your teammates
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field or equivalence in experience
- Ability to analyze cash flows, leverage, collateral and customer strength
- Ability to contact customers and ask for financial information and documentation
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
- Skilled in managing multiple tasks and maintaining strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior analytical skills
